While doing the research for this business report I found that these numbers to be accurate and true to the best of my knowledge. The financial situation of The Les Sans-Abri Project is currently at a deficit. The utmost concern of this mission is the welfare of the homeless here in Lafayette, Louisiana. “In Louisiana alone there is 19.2% of the state who is homeless or living below poverty. That is 1/3 of the population.” According to the Census Bureau web site the numbers are staggering. (“http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/22000.html”)(see foot note) With rent, loan interest rates (mortgages), and normal everyday cost of living (hygiene products and food) being so high. Employers are not keeping up with the cost of living standard here in Louisiana. More and more people are forced to the streets because they simply cannot pay their rent and feed their families. Due to this society’s financial regression (resulting from the Katrina catastrophe) there has been an influx of men, women, and children in our community who are suffering as a result of this. Just recently we took in a young man who is married with a child. He is homeless for his wife to have a place to stay because there is no work where he lives; he comes to the city from the country to work and sends his wife home the money. He is a good man with a great spirit working seven days a week to support his family.
The organization members are as follows: Phillip Cordero (founder), Gary Sloate (spokes person), and Nadine Andersen (administrator). We are arranging a ministry to provide food for the homeless, along with logging. The administrator has collected people to fill the positions required for the body of this movement to be completed.
The current events will take place on or about May 3rd 2008. Where we will sell plate lunches, sell t-shirts and have a band. In a central location where for the people who this benefit is for will be able to get to. This is a fund raiser for the sole purpose of feeding and later down the road eventually housing these people also. We have designed a program to help people transition back into society as active members of the same. Our goals are to keep this event going at least once a month. Saving monies collected in the “Les Sans-Abri” Fund where the monies will be kept until it is time to start building from the funds. The new building we will build will be as big as a warehouse with 3 floors. The first floor will have the place to get medical attention, eat and recreation; the second floor will be the residents of the facility as will the third floor. This project will create jobs for the less fortunate and house the homeless. Most importantly are the women and children here in Louisiana. I have researched and it saddened me to see there was no “real” help for them here in Louisiana. While doing my research I started to cry and I said a prayer. I cannot believe that here in the land of the free this is still going on. But it is and we all need to get together and stop this mediocrity.
Although your support will be used for launch this first seminal funding event all proceeds will be used to continue the efforts of aiding Les Sans-Abri project. We have counted the costs in what it takes to meet these requirements. Any money that is left over from your support will go directly into the fund that we have set up for the objective. There will be ongoing financial funds coming into the mission through regular fund raisers, grants, and the church who is sponsoring us. We believe that this is God’s will. We also understand not everyone believes this way and we are opened to everyone who needs our help.

UNITY DAY IS FEB. 8, 9, AND 10
Dear Fellow Second Life Neighbor
When I first came to Secondlife I had no idea that my life would change the way it has. I have met some really great people here in SL and I plan on meeting more great people. Even though I have been here for a little more then a year. I feel as though some of the friendships I had made here with some of you have been very special and I want to thank you all for making my SL experience as cherishing and memorable as it has been. As I continue this Secondlife Journey I pray to continue finding many new and wonderful people who not only will become a part of my life but also for me to be a better part of yours also.
As we end the year a New Year will begin and with that new and old friendships alike will come together as one.
On February 8th, 9th, and 10th, we are having a benefit for a group named SLNA (Second Life Narcotics Anonymous) Unity is the key to staying clean for all addicts. In Second Life there is unity. The idea for this group sprang from an incident of a real life experience.
I am a recovering addict who had a boyfriend with a drug problem. Not only did he have a drug problem, but he was also blind. Being disabled he found it hard to go to a meeting and feel a "part of" as the Narcotics Anonymous literature clearly states; we are united together and our common welfare should come first. The most important person at any meeting is the new comer, for we can only keep what we have by giving it away". When a person who is "different" walks into any public gathering they are watched stared at like there is something wrong with them.... OR... they are ignored, as if they aren't there at all. My ex-boyfriend was made to feel just like that in a few meetings which kept him from taking full advantage of the program that we offer. In February of 2007 he died of a drug overdose.
I decided to form a group online in secondlife for the people who can not or will not get out and go to a meeting. For people with disabilities. We have voice chat now. Blind and wheel chair bound people are welcomed alike. In SL we are all 23 years old and we are all walking, talking and having a great time who ever we are and what ever we do.
The "only" requirement for membership into this group is the the desire to stay clean. The rest will follow. It is only by God's grace for me I am alive today and clean. I have 7 1/2 years clean. I am not proud of where I came from. My addiction took me to places that aren't speakable. But non the less. I am who I am and I have my own story. Someone once told me; "stick around a while and you WILL hear your story". That statement continues to come true as long as I continue to make regular meetings and not only did I hear my story I have shared it and gave that same hope to someone else who has my story.
Now, I would like to take the time to invite you to my benefit in world. You will be so happy you came to this event. We will be having an auction, bands, live artists and a fashion show also. Your support is just to show up. The rest will take care of itself. The purpose for this benefit is to be able to have a meeting place for other addicts who want to recover. Our goal is to raise enough money to buy a sim and have the maintenance fees paid for at least 6 months. That will give us time to build our community. This sim will be ran by Recovering addicts only. We will have stores and shops there to raise money on a daily basis for our cost of living in SL. Anyone can come to our sim to shop. And let's face it in America alone ever single family has been plagued with addiction in some way. At least one person in every family in America alone has an addict. The choice to do something about it is completely our own.

A MOTHER’S PRAYER
I pray that every mom this year gets to experience the joy of mother hood all over the world.
I pray that this year is extra special for all mothers who have to live apart from their children this year.
I pray that you and you alone will make the conscious decision to change your life.
I pray that because there are people in the world who are actually making a life for themselves get to see their children this year.
I pray that God softens every harden heart in the world this Mother’s day and that every mother is reunited with her child.
I pray that God hears our souls crying and grants us this prayer.

Well, here I am again!

ANYWAY, I THOUGHT I HAD MET MY ONE AND ONLY. TO SOON REALIZE THAT HE WAS JUST PLAYING A GAME WITH ME. I AM FROM THE STREETS! I AM ALSO ONE PERSON WHO HAS CHANGED MY LIFE AND HOW EASY IT IS TO SLIP BACK INTO THE OL'ATTITUDE. THAT KIND OF THINKING IS ONLY GOING TO TAKE ME BACK OUT TO THE STREETS USING DRUGS AGAIN AND SELLING THEM AS WELL. I DON'T WANT THAT KIND OF LIFE. I WAS NOT BORN TO LIVE THAT WAY. I REFUSE TO LET ANYONE PERSON DRAG ME DOWN TO THAT AGAIN.

I have made a huge decision this week....
On my Birthday today I made my decision to find my soul-mate.
I know that you are thinking that if it is fate then why look. Well, my friend, fate doesn't come knockin on our doors. The only way that we have to find out if fate is in our corner or not is to go out and look for it. AND --- Since, I have no life except for a few minutes on my pc outside of work I have no life. I need to find some way to find the person I was met to be with for the rest of my life. I know that he is out there somewhere and where I don't know. I will look to the end of the earth to find him. I am not getting any younger. I am by no means no trophey girl. I have many flaws. I am however very clean and well read. I am a trophey in better part of the word though. I have made some seriously wrong choices in life and I have taken lifes lesson's to heart. I made mistakes and paid the consequences for every action I have acted on.
Now, I am a different kind of person. One who has been a recovering addict and one who had taken a vow of abstenance for the first three and half years of recovery. Now, if you don't know what that means then one day if we meet I will explain it all to you. Promise!
I know that some of you may think well what is it that this woman did so wrong and why is she confessing to what ever it is that she did? What I did was I chose to be with the wrong men in my life. I am a surviver of abuse and I have finally evolved from that kind of personality. I have come to the realization that I am so worth being loved and cared for. I also believe in a entity greater then me (human) who loves me to the end and that He alone will decide my fate.
Fate! What a word! I know my fate lies in the balance of this great entity. I know that my Father won't forsake his own and that he will reunite us soon.

The past two days have been really tough.
I have written to you all about the angry blind man whom I was taken care of and the verbal abuse that I had to endure. Well, the last straw was Thursday morning May 12, 2005. I couldn't take it anymore and I decided to start with the words back. I still don't understand why he treated me like that. I always kissed his ass and jealous of my children. He called my daughter a parasite. Who calls someone's child a parasite? That is so low! F**ken sick! Real sick! He has some issues. Serious serious problems. I am so sick to my stomach over it.
So as of yesterday May r the term paper, seems that groupmates have already completed their parts. :P
Obviously, I am in need of fresh air. My heart beat slowed down recently.

A day from hell!
I am a very tired woman tonight. I am turning in once I get this out to you. I have a blind ol'man who is very angry. I couldn't go to school yesterday because he decided to pick a fight with me and told me that he was going to poison my ferret while I was out. I am so tired of the bulls**t. Mother's Day is around the corner!
A little shop of artistic values for mom.
You know I am a person who used to draw and write all the time. I put that aside for stupid things and I feel that I should start to share my talent with the world. I feel that I should be an inspiration for someone who wants to do something but doesn't know how to. I want to make a difference in peoples lives today.
I know that I have made mistakes in my life. Some of the decisions that I have made in the past have not been the right decisions and I have suffered and paid my dues for every reaction to my actions.
I know that life is very hard to do the right thing and I am telling you that you don't have to live a life that is not morally correct or that even goes agianst your sense of judgement.
Beleive me I know how much easier it is to say; "f**k it!" But that is not the right way to go.
You know I am a person who used to draw and write all the time. I put that aside for stupid things and I feel that I should start to share my talent with the world. I feel that I should be an inspiration for someone who wants to do something but doesn't know how to. I want to make a difference in peoples lives today.
I know that I have made mistakes in my life. Some of the decisions that I have made in the past have not been the right decisions and I have suffered and paid my dues for every reaction to my actions.
I know that life is very hard to do the right thing and I am telling you that you don't have to live a life that is not morally correct or that even goes agianst your sense of judgement.
Beleive me I know how much easier it is to say; "f**k it!" But that is not the right way to go.

Lady~Rose
I will be taken around 7 classes this semester! WoW! That is alot! Even the Dean doesn't want to let me take that many classes. It's all about the money. I am convinced that they need the money. But why from me? I am struggling as it is! I know to pray about it. I still ask why. If I never asked why and just went around ablivion to everything then I am a real stupid person! I learned a long time ago to ask questions. The more you ask the more you will find out.
Today is Saturday the 2nd day of April. I am going to a concert tonight and I am going to have a fun time. It is Zakk Wylde who is the singer of Black Label Society. I love them! He wrote for Ozzy and even did backup for him too. I will be writing a review not here tho I will be writing a review on mymusic.com. you can find me there as ladyrose too. I need help with my college monies I don't like asking this but I am going to need to pay at lease 16,000.00 sum odd dollars this semester and I don't have any other options but to ask if you can help with a simple five dollar donation. It is going directly to school. Well, as I have stated in past blogs what you do comes back three fold whether good or bad.
